Who can participate?

Anyone who is interested in learning more about how new companies are started should enter the Entrepreneurs’ Challenge. Almost everything covered during the programme will be useful in any career in either the commercial world or academia.

All students, staff and researchers at UCL and the London Business School are eligible for entry, regardless of which department they are attached to.

It is not important for you to have an idea for a business before you enter. Once the Entrepreneurs' Challenge gets underway, there will be plenty of good ideas amongst the entrants. Some of these ideas will be for technical projects such as computer software or medical treatments but we will also expect a good deal of the ideas to be more conventional ones such as kite retailers or new magazine titles. If you have an idea you want to enter post it on the forum to discuss it or email us via info@londonentrepreneurschallenge.com once you have registered.

Participants will enter individually and will form teams for the purposes of the competition. Entrants will be free to form their own teams or will be allocated a team if preferred. If you have an idea and need team members or want to join a team check out the forums to see the latest business ideas.

It is hoped that teams will have a blend of experience and skills in order to form a balance of capabilities. Some knowledge of business and technology in each team will be desirable but is not essential.

If you have any questions email the organisers: info@londonentrepreneurschallenge.com
